Marcus Vane serves as Design Editor at Digital Pulse, where he leads coverage of user experience design, visual hierarchy, and conversion-focused interface architecture. Over fifteen years in the design industry, Marcus has held senior positions at three digital agencies and two in-house product teams, working with clients ranging from early-stage startups to FTSE 100 companies. His particular expertise lies in the intersection of aesthetic design and measurable business outcomes — understanding how typography, layout, colour, and interaction patterns influence user behaviour and conversion rates. Marcus studied Graphic Communication at Central Saint Martins before completing a postgraduate programme in Human-Computer Interaction at University College London.
His design philosophy centres on the belief that the best interfaces are those where every visual decision serves a strategic purpose. He has written extensively on design systems, micro-interactions, and the role of whitespace in digital communication. At Digital Pulse, Marcus brings a practitioner's perspective to design coverage, drawing on real project experience rather than theoretical frameworks.
